The Experience

Make Sevilla your home for the semester. For three months, you’ll be in a Christian community taking academic courses related to your major, living with a local family, and exploring all that Sevilla has to offer. The city is a vibrant, walkable, and historic place in southern Spain, featuring stunning architecture, world-renowned flamenco, and aromatic orange trees. Come experience it with us!

Course Offerings

Take 12-18 credits of courses that transfer back to your university. You can select a combination that supports your interests and degree goals. The Intermediate courses feature two 200-level language courses, and two 300-level grammar and culture classes provided in Spanish. The Advanced courses are 300- and 400- level content delivered in Spanish.

Typical Weekday

7:30 Breakfast at your homestay

8:00 Walk, bike, or bus to school

9:00-13:30 Classes at our school

14:00-17:00 Lunch and siesta at your homestay. Enjoy the largest meal of the day, then nap, read, study, watch TV, etc. 

17:00-20:00 Afternoon activities: enjoy la merienda (afternoon coffee and sweet snack), study,  wander the city, participate in a school activity, volunteer, join a sport or art class, visit a park, and so much more! Sevilla is at your fingertips!

21:00 Dinner with your host family and sobremesa (chatting after the meal)

22:00 The plazas and calles of Sevilla are still buzzing with activity!  Take a walk, call a friend back home, finish up homework, or turn in for the night.
