The International Internship course provides students with the opportunity to complete an internship in their chosen field of study along with an academic framework to approach the internship. Students enrolling in this course will receive a custom placement at an internship site from the Living and Learning professional network. The network includes schools, businesses, non-government organizations, churches, hospitals, clinics, government agencies, etc. Student internship placement is based on the student's skills, future career goals, and the requirements of their degree program. In addition to the hands-on placement hours at an internship site, a primary goal of this course is placed on holistic learning that includes spiritual formation, one on one mentorship, and reflection. A second goal of this course is to provide students with a set of tools to utilize in interacting with people in work, community, or educational settings.
