From Studying Abroad to Landing Your Dream Career
L&LI Alumni have a diverse range of experiences and stories, but we often hear from our students that they learned something about themselves during their time abroad that impacted the trajectory of their academic or professional careers. It all starts with saying yes to a study abroad and diving into the experience.
A Peek Into Our Experiential Tours Dept.
Our Experiential Tours Department organized two events in Quito, Ecuador. The first event was an in-person training for current and future hosts who lead our short-term tours. The second event was a partner appreciation dinner for all the organizations that come alongside us to provide incredible hands-on experience for the students and professors participating in one or more of our Living & Learning offerings.

Our neighborhood of Pigneto, is already becoming home to our students as they explore the stores, do their grocery shopping, meet the local vendors, and learn to practice the Italian language.
A Letter from the BUS Program Directors
The foundation of the BUS began twenty years ago at Wheaton College in Illinois. Starting in 2001, we had the privilege of working together to encourage, equip, and challenge students to engage in global urban learning.
