Ecuador
Social Work/Psychology
Short-Term Experiential Tour with Living & Learning International
This program allows social work and psychology students to travel through Ecuador while partnering with organizations and ministries reaching out to marginalized people groups. While in Quito, the team will partner with a variety of organizations that are working with victims of sexual exploitation, safe homes, juvenile delinquent centers, refugee ministry, people with varying physical abilities, and a mental health clinic. The team will engage with the local culture through a cooking class, visiting the historical center and artisan market, riding a gondola up part of a volcano, and standing on both equators.
