Paper & Presentation Submission
About the Conference
We are delighted to invite scholars, educators, administrators, study abroad experts, and students to submit papers for the 4th annual International Conference on Christian Study Abroad hosted by Living & Learning International.
The Christian Study Abroad Conference (CSAC) brings together the people who make study abroad possible for undergraduate students at Christian colleges and universities. Campus administrators, faculty, program leaders abroad, and service providers each contribute to this shared work. Together, we prepare students, design programs, support learning, cultivate meaningful cultural engagement, and care for students throughout their experience. The 2027 conference invites us to consider how we can faithfully steward our distinct roles while working together to strengthen the field of Christian study abroad.
Submission Methods

Individual Submission
A single speaker may submit an individual proposal. The conference organizers will place individuals into panels of 2-3 speakers of similar or related topics. Each presentation will have 18-22 minutes.

Joint Submissions
Two speakers may submit a single proposal. They will co-present the single presentation. The conference organizers will place the pair into panels of 2-3 presentations of similar or related topics. Each presentation will have 18-22 minutes (ie. the two speakers in a joint submission would share the 18-22 minutes).

Group Submission
Participants are invited to collaborate with colleagues to develop a panel as a group of two to four panelists speaking on related or complementary topics (ie. the group would have approximately 60 minutes to present).
