International Summer Internship Students
We have students from a variety of universities and colleges join us for eight weeks in Quito, Ecuador or Rome, Italy to do an internship at a local organization. We place students at organizations and companies where they will gain hands-on experience in the career field related to their major and interests.
During those eight weeks, students intern full-time, earn college credit, explore the country through our weekend excursions, and live in Christian community. There’s no better way to spend the summer! Check out what a few of our students are up to and what they think.
Allied Health Internship
Logan is a Houston Christian University student studying allied health. He spent eight weeks with us at our Rome location, interning at La Croce Rossa - Centro Educazione Motoria (Center for Movement Education). Logan interned for 150 hours shadowing the physical therapists in the center. Hear how his experience went!
Law Firm Internship
Faith is a Wheaton College student studying Urban Studies and Political Science. She is gaining experience in a local Ecuadorian law firm where she also gets to practice her Spanish. Faith shares a bit about what a typical day in Quito looks like for her.
Information Technology and Customer Care Internship
Reid is a Liberty University student studying Information Technology. His major requires him to complete an internship in his field of study and he decided to do that with us here in Rome! He is at Fat Tire Tours working in their office managing sales, bikes, and anything related to their online systems. See what a day in the life looks like for Reid.
