Living & Learning International (L&LI) is a Christian study abroad organization serving students from Christian colleges and universities. L&LI provides academically excellent global programs where students live in community, engage the challenges of the world, and learn to respond with a Christ centered worldview. We work with 50+ institutions across the United States in semester, summer, and short-term study abroad programs.

Enrollment Manager

The Enrollment Manager will be responsible for the promotion, advising, application processing, and onboarding of undergraduate college students enrolling in Living & Learning programs. This position will require extensive travel to college campuses across the US during the peak recruiting season each semester. The enrollment team is responsible for enrolling a target of 30-40 students per semester per program location. The Enrollment Manager will be a key member of these efforts.

  • Be a ‘Learner’ of team members' stories, processes, program details, and software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of U.S. partner universities, with a focus on understanding the needs, challenges, and priorities of students, staff, and faculty related to study abroad.

  • Design and deliver training sessions for study abroad staff and other strategic campus stakeholders, including peer, graduate, and professional advisors.

  • Develop and implement a strategy each semester to increase student enrollment at partner universities.

  • Coordinate and participate in student outreach and support events, such as study abroad fairs, recruitment activities, pre-departure orientations, and re-entry programs.

  • Build and maintain your own network of contacts (students, faculty, staff) at L&LI partner colleges and universities

  • During the active recruitment season, visit assigned college campuses (15-20 per semester).

    • Spring: the fourth week of January through the first week of March (6 weeks)

    • Fall: September through the first two weeks of October (6 weeks)

    • Occasional other campus visits outside of these periods

  • Schedule classroom presentations, continually refining the presentation for effectiveness

  • Schedule meetings with the study abroad office, academic departments, and other student life departments and clubs to share about Living & Learning

  • Book your own travel reservations, track expenses, and stay within budget

  • Submit campus visit summaries in CRM system

  • Regular reporting of recruiting activities and results for L&LI leadership

  • Track accepted students through the pre-departure onboarding process with an emphasis on retention

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • International study/intern/volunteer experience

  • Strong sales, marketing, and outreach skills

  • Ability to travel frequently

  • Ability to thrive without daily supervision (self-starter)

  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace

  • Valid driver’s license

Work Environment

  • Up to 35% annual travel, including recruitment, conferences, and training

  • Remote working environment

  • Up to 5-6 days of travel per week during peak season

  • Work hours during travel fall outside of the typical 8am-5pm.

  • Ability to lift or maneuver up to 50 pounds.

  • Stamina to sit for long periods of time, especially due to possible flight delays or traffic

Compensation

  • Expected Hiring Range: $48,000-$53,000, depending on experience

  • Health Insurance

  • Meals, accommodations, and rental car while traveling on business

  • 2 weeks paid vacation + 10 floating holidays. Paid vacation time increases with tenure.
