Rebecca Georgeson

Hey there! I'm Rebecca Georgeson, a junior at Biola University where I'm studying nursing and Spanish. I had the opportunity to spend my spring 2024 semester studying in Quito, Ecuador with Living & Learning! I knew that I wanted to study abroad even before I entered college because I knew that there are adventures that only happen when you're living in a different country. From hiking a snowy volcano at 16,000 feet to sharing breakfast with my Ecuadorian homestay parents, each day was a new experience for me where I got to grow in my understanding of God's story, the impact of culture, and the beauty of community. One of my favorite routines of the semester was walking with friends to a nearby climbing gym before class, where we got to practice our bouldering and become part of a local community.
